The Manteca Police Department received 778 calls between Sept. 6 and Wednesday, Sept. 12. The following is a sample of those calls.
Tuesday, Sept. 11
7:27 a.m.: Someone calling from the 1300 block of Northgate Drive said that a man in his late 20s raped his 14-year-old daughter.
12:11 p.m.: A woman said that skateboarders were urinating in the bushes at the MRPS Hall, 133 North Grant Ave.
8:06 p.m.: A woman said that “hackysackers” were causing a disturbance and throwing sacks at her on the 700 block of Oregon Street.
Sunday, Sept. 9
12:59 a.m.: A woman said that a man raped her and was in the bedroom.
10:10 a.m.: A man said rats from his neighbor’s house were coming into his backyard on the 700 block of Meadow Way.
5:48 p.m.: A man said his wife punched him the face on the 500 block of Button Ave.
Saturday, Sept. 8
6:20 p.m.: Someone said that a student was skateboarding on the roof of Golden West School, 1031 North Main Street.
Friday, Sept. 7
10:35 p.m.: A man said that someone drove over his lawn and hit him with a vehicle on the 900 block of Yolo Street.
7:02 p.m.: A man called and admitted he was jack-hammering concrete out of a parking lot and putting it on the train tracks on the corner of Willow and Yosemite avenues.
Thursday, Sept. 6
6:40 p.m.: A woman said that several men were playing volleyball and urinating on trees in an empty parking lot on the corner of Milano Street and Bella Terra Drive.
