MANTECA — Downtown Manteca will buzz this weekend as the 12th annual Crossroads Street Faire fills the streets with live music, tasty treats, and arts and crafts — and, with a little luck, plenty of spring sunshine.
“I’ve ordered good weather,” said John Heath, events planner for the Manteca Convention and Visitors Bureau. “So we’ll see what happens.”
Organizers expect roughly 45,000 people to traipse through the fair over the two days of festivities — and they’ll have plenty of shopping choices to choose from. Four hundred vendors paid between $300 and $600 apiece for booth space.
And if the sunshine does persist, kids are invited to go for a splash in the city’s brand new interactive water fountain, located in Library Park.
The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of West Yosemite Avenue and Main Street.
