Two Manteca businesses have had their liquor licenses suspended by the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, ABC Supervising Investigator Paul Fuentes said.
Leon’s Bar, 220 W. Yosemite Ave., was forbidden from selling beer, wine or liquor for the 15 days between May 1 and today, May 16, after police and ABC officials caught the bar serving alcohol to minors on two occasions in February and March.
The Valero gas station at 1001 E. Yosemite Ave. may not sell beer or wine for an indefinite period of time, also starting May 1, because of failure to pay taxes. Their license will be reinstated after they pay up, Fuentes said.
