STOCKTON — Details about what happened to Lathrop resident Alfredo Solorio when he was beaten to death early April 29 will wait another month.
The preliminary hearing for two cousins who are accused of killing Solorio, 39, was delayed Monday, June 8, in San Joaquin County Superior Court in Stockton and rescheduled for 8:30 a.m. July 13 in Department 35.
Charged in the killing are Anthony Mejorado, 21, of Lathrop, and his 19-year-old cousin, Issac Mejorado, of Stockton.
Police believe they went to Solorio’s house early April 29 to settle a dispute that started the night before. Solorio was found beaten at his house on the 200 block of Shilling Avenue in Lathrop. He was taken to a hospital and placed on life support. He died the next day.
The cousins are being held without bail in San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
